Dave Grohl responded to that viral video featuring Italian musicians and it's lovely

Earlier this week, 1,000 musicians in Cesena, Italy covered the Foo Fighters' 'Learn to Fly' in an attempt to persuade the band to play a gig in their city.

The resulting video has been viewed more than 10,000,000 times - and got the attention of Dave Grohl, who uploaded his own video message in response promising to play a gig there.

His message is in Italian, but according to a BBC translation Grohl says:

Hello Cesena. It's David. Hi. I am sorry I don't speak Italian, just a bit, a bit. This video, was good! Super nice. Thank you so much. We're coming, I swear. We'll see each other soon. Thank you so much. I love you. Ciao.
