Donald Trump literally wants his supporters to carry ‘Trump Cards’

In case you were concerned he was becoming normal, Donald Trump has now said he wants his supporters to carry actual “Trump Cards.”

According to Insider, the Trump camp sent two emails on 4 August asking supporters to carry one of two red and gold cards, which look like credit cards and are signed by the former President. Lucky supporters.

“The card you select will be carried by Patriots all around the Country. They will be a sign of your dedicated support to our movement to SAVE AMERICA, and I’m putting my full trust in you,” Trump wrote in the first email.

The Trump team sent a follow-up email later that night, which read: “We’re about to launch our Official Trump Cards, which will be reserved for President Trump’s STRONGEST supporters.”

“We recently met with the President in his Florida office and showed him four designs,” the email continued. “Originally we were planning on releasing just one design, but when President Trump saw the cards on his desk, he said, ‘These are BEAUTIFUL. We should let the American People decide - they ALWAYS know best!’”

The email was sent despite the fact that Trump is no longer the President.

Those who try to vote for their favourite design are redirected to a fundraising page hinting that this could just be Trump’s latest grift.

Otherwise, he may have been inspired by an attendee at the Conservative Political Action Conference who last month was seen handing out ‘Trump cards’ touting a “seven-point plan” to return Donald Trump to the presidency “within days”.

Trump’s own ‘Trump Cards’ however, do not include plans for anything and just look like membership cards for the worst club ever.

Inevitably, then, they have been mocked on social media:

How embarrassing. We think we prefer the other Trump Cards, you know...the card game.
