Returning to his old college at Oxford University, Boris Johnson was greeted by protesting students with a very rude banner.

On Sunday, the Foreign Secretary visited Balliol College, where he studied classics on a scholarship from 1983-87.

Heckling and carrying a large banner, the students approached him as he headed towards Broad Street, the main road located outside the historic college.

The banner read:

Racist Boris. What dead have animals have you f****d?

A video of the incident is available on the Twitter feed of Novara media.

On the footage, one protestor can be heard shouting:

A quarter of kids grow up in poverty and you're taking their free school meals.

You should be ashamed of yourself Boris.

Another went for the much blunter:

Tory T*sser.

And another:

Why don't you go back to the Bullingdon club?

You want to smash a restaurant? Burn £50 in front of a homeless person?

Johnson breezed passed the protestors into his waiting car.

He's been called it before, and worse.

According to student paper Cherwell, Balliol College did not comment on the purpose of Johnson' meeting at Balliol on Sunday afternoon, other than to say it was an 'private party' and Johnson was attending as an alumnus.

Reportedly, no other alumni were in attendance.
