Greta Thunberg met Barack Obama and people are obsessed

In this age of political madness, the Obama nostalgia is real, and his latest tweet epitomises exactly why.

The former president posted a picture in which he is shaking hands with Greta Thunberg - probably one of the most well-known and respected (at least among progressive circles) teenager on the planet.

In his tweet, he called Thunberg "one of our planet’s greatest advocates", and said she embodies the Obama Foundation vision for the future.

Thunberg arrived in the US last month after spending two weeks sailing across the Atlantic in a bid to travel from Sweden without flying.

People were delighted by the partnership.

While others saw it as an opportunity to reflect on the vast difference between the current president and Obama's administration.
