Everyone thinks this photo of Jared and Ivanka Trump is straight out of a horror movie

Yesterday, president Donald Trump's official three-day state visit to the United Kingdom kicked off, with Queen Elizabeth II welcoming him, Melania and the Trump family to Buckingham Palace.

During the welcoming ceremony, Trump's eldest daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner looked on from a window of the palace, and the resulting photographs began to gain attention online, with many comparing them to a scene from a horror movie.

And, to be honest, we can see why. The resulting photograph was filmic, to say the least, and it was also very, very creepy.

Many made comparisons between the couple and the twins in The Shining.

There were many, many, other comparisons to other horror movies.

Others said the photograph is what nightmares are made of.

Ivanka, however, seemed oblivious to the creepiness of the image and shared it to her own Twitter account.

Thousands of protestors are expected to take to the streets today to protest against Trump's state visit, gathering at Trafalgar Square. London Mayor Sadiq Kahn has granted permission for the Trump Baby Blimp to fly again, and this year, it will also be joined by a 16-ft robot talking robot depicting Donald Trump sitting on a gold toilet with his trousers around his ankles tweeting.

The robot will emit farting noises, alongside some of his favourite catchphrases, such as 'no collusion', 'you are fake news' and 'I'm a very stable genius'.
