Donald Trump Jr's girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle has been appointed as a member of Donald Trump's 2020 presidential campaign team.

Guilfoyle, who is a former Fox News host and has been dating Trump Jr for around 12 months, had been working for a pro-Trump political group called America First Action, before landing this new role.

The 50-year-old confirmed the job in an Instagram post earlier this week, writing:

America's continued success depends on Donald Trump getting re-elected and continuing his MAGA policies.

That's why I am absolutely THRILLED to announce that I'll be joining the Trump campaign as a Senior Advisor!

It's time to get to work and WIN for America in 2020!

However, this news has coincided with the resurfacing of an image of Guilfoyle posing for a picture with Jovanni Valle, also known as 'Jovi Val', a renowned white nationalist who was recently egged in New York City after delivering a homophobic rant.

It's unknown where this picture originated from but it could have come from Valle's Instagram feed, which is currently suspended.

It's also not clear if Guilfoyle knew who Valle was when the picture was taken as he is not wearing any visible right-wing paraphernalia.

Regardless, these pictures are likely to be quite damaging to Guilfoyle's reputation, especially after she was reportedly fired from Fox News due to sexual misconduct allegations.

Twitter users have condemned Guilfoyle for the photo while others have suggested that she be given the benefit of the doubt.
