The extraordinarily wealthy Kylie Jenner – although it is now unclear whether or not she is a billionaire – has supposedly just bought a pony that reportedly cost $200,000.

The Daily Mail reports that it was intended as a gift for her 2-year-old

Jenner allegedly spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on a pony was condemned as rather tone deaf as millions of Americans are unemployed and just scraping by due to the pandemic.

The pony, named Frozen, was reportedly imported from the Netherlands from breeder Stal Wilten to Los Angeles, where he's being quarantined for 14 days due to the pandemic.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Wilten confirmed that Frozen had landed in Los Angeles, a trip that the Daily Mail estimated to cost Jenner between $7,000 and $10,000.

Calling the alleged purchase "ridiculous" and the cost of "an entire law school tuition", the quarantined purebred horse sparked fury online.

"So you think Kylie Jenner can import me a 200k pony or is that too much to ask," one Twitter user joked. "Read the room, some of us can’t even pay our rent during this pandemic," another said.

Jenner isn't even the only member of the Kardashian family to receive backlash for horse-related scandals.

In June, Kim Kardashian West posted about having 14 Friesian horses, one of which belongs to her 7-year-old daughter North West.

Clearly very few people are actually impressed with the glamorous horse-riding lifestyle at the moment. To sum it up, one user responded to Kim, "I'll take Tone Deaf Celebrities During a Worldwide Pandemic for 500, Alex".

indy100 attempted to reach Kylie Jenner for comment. If she responds, we'll let you know.
