Man who peddled voter fraud conspiracies for Trump is now being investigated for voter fraud

If you cast your mind back to November, you may recall the cast of characters that Donald Trump had defending his baseless claims of voter fraud

They included the likes of his lawyer Rudy Giuliani, Sidney ‘release the Kraken’ Powell, the ‘SNL character’ Melissa Carone and Lin Wood, a lawyer who has not only been suspended from Twitter for expressing his support for the violent scenes that took place in Washington DC on 6th January but had also called for the ‘execution’ of Mike Pence on Parler.

Needless to say, Wood is something of a controversial and outspoken individual who in an ironic twist of fate is now being investigated for committing his own case of voter fraud.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is currently investigating Wood, who voted in Georgia during the election but reportedly now has a permanent residence in South Carolina in property he purchased in April, 2020.

In a statement that he gave to CNN on Tuesday, Wood explained that he had not been ‘domiciled’ in South Carolina adding "I have been a resident of the State of Georgia since 1955. I have changed my residency to South Carolina yesterday. This is pure harassment by the Georgia Secretary of State."

Wood’s statement reportedly caught the eye of officials which has prompted the investigation from Raffensperger’s office. As you can imagine, people appreciated the irony of the investigation.
