Middle-aged white man Hague replaced by middle-aged white man Hammond

William Hague has quit as foreign secretary after announcing he will stand down as an MP at the next general election to focus on his writing, although he will stay in the Cabinet as leader of the House of Commons until then.

Prime minister David Cameron has replaced the former Tory leader with defence secretary Philip Hammond.

Below we present how the outgoing foreign secretary and his replacement measure up. As you can see it's a pretty bold move by Cameron.
