Morning Joehas never been cautious when it comes to criticising President Donald Trump - it's something that has helped push them to some their highest ever ratings.

The Associated Press have reported a June viewership of an estimated 1.66 million people, ranked higher than any other edition of the show - outstripping their greatest ever viewership, which was incidentally the broadcast the day after Trump won the 2016 Presidential election

To the clear aggravation of the man in the Oval Office:

They cover Trump day in, day out. So Mika Brzezinski is probably well placed to ask the following question to contributor Mark Halperin, about his awkward comments following Hurricane Harvey:

Is this a stability issue?

I feel like some might argue when you see him off prompter, he doesn’t really seem to be there.

He doesn’t really seem to connect with the reality of the situation.

For example, in Houston, saying ‘Have a good time’ to people or something.

There’s some disconnection.

A Democrat lawmaker, San Jose Representative Zoe Lofgren, wrote in a resolution letter to Congress that Trump should undergo a medical and psychiatric evaluation following his speeches about Charlottesville:

President Donald J. Trump has exhibited an alarming pattern of behavior and speech causing concern that a mental disorder may have rendered him unfit and unable to fulfill his Constitutional duties.
