Povše related her time with Lilly, the dog she found at a rescue centre in Croatia.

Lilly was my first dog, my first love any she saved my life.

When I adopted her I had severe asthma attacks and she took me on long walks every day – she cured me.

In late 2016 Lilly was diagnosed with liver cancer.
