A gun lobby's mock mass shooting was upstaged by a mass farting protest

Second amendment fans came face-to-face with dildos and farts on Saturday after their mock mass shooting was overshadowed by a toilet humour counter protest.

Pro-gun demonstrators held a mass shooting reenactment near the University of Texas but didn't account for the counter demo set up to poke fun at the absurdity of playing out the horror of a gun massacres... in order to, er, rally behind guns.

Andrew Dobbs, organiser of the mass farting - which saw protesters waving sex toys and machines emitting fart noises - told The Austin Chronicle:

We are in a scary time right now and lots of scary things are happening, and some people want us to be more afraid.

I choose to believe that fear is not the solution to the threat of our time. That laughing in the face of fear is a courageous act and toting a gun around everywhere you go, maybe not so much.
