The mystery of how these anti-voting posters ended up in Westminster

These anti-voting posters have been spotted around central London.

Here's one slap bang in the middle of Westminster.

And here's one in Aldwych .

They were designed by the anarchist magazine STRIKE!, whose anti-police posters ended up outside the Metropolitan Police's headquarters in a similar campaign last year.

This time, they are part of a guerrilla campaign by an organisation calling itself the Special Patrol Group, named after the now-disbanded police unit responsible for combating serious disorder/Vyvyan's hamster in The Young Ones.

A spokesperson told i100.co.uk:

Outdoor advertising is perhaps the only thing less democratic than parliamentary politics - give us back our visual realm, you scumbags!
