This is what was found in a 200-year-old time capsule

The contents of a sealed box buried in 1795 have been revealed for the first time.

The 'time capsule' is thought to have been buried by American Revolution figures Samuel Adams and Paul Revere.

The box was buried with the cornerstone of the Massachusetts statehouse in 1795 before being shifted to a brass box 60 years later.

Inside conservators found five newspapers, a medal featuring George Washington, an elaborate silver plaque and 24 coins dating back to 1655 - making them older than the oldest building still standing in Boston.
