Audiences around the world have been enjoying the spectacular opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang today.
Featuring stunning displays, K-pop soundtracks, fireworks and dancing, the 23rd installment of the international event was truly incredible. The highlight for many, though, was the return of the shirtless oiled up Tongan flag bearer, who made headlines during Brazil's Olympic games in 2016.
Even the sub-zero temperatures didn’t stop Pita Taufatofua from baring his chest once again.
He iconically raised his country's flag at the opening ceremony in Brazil two years ago and nearly shut down the internet in the process; people are loving his return as Tonga's proud flag bearer:

Oh, hello, Tonga! Most of us use duck fat for roasting potatoes, not keeping warm during #OpeningCeremony #WinterOlympics. Too cold for that— Fiona Shoop (@Fiona Shoop) 1518178077
