Watch: Power station towers reduced to rubble in seconds

After dominating the local skyline for more than 40 years, two massive cooling towers were reduced to dust and rubble in just ten seconds.

The towers at the disused Didcot A Power Station were demolished shortly after 5am using 180kg of explosives.

People had gathered since 10pm last night to watch the towers, installed in 1970, come down.
