Nobody knows when Google's birthday is

The day is Sunday 27 September 2015. It's Google's 17th birthday. At least we think it is.

If fact, the search engine itself doesn't even know its date of birth. Not helpful when searching "when is Google's birthday?"

In a blog post to celebrate the tech giant's probable 17th birthday Google Doodle Team Lead, Ryan Germick wrote:

When's Google's birthday? I'm not even sure we know - we've celebrated on September 7th, 8th, 26th, and most recently the 27th.

If Google wishes to continue celebrating its birthday on this fine date, it is in good company.
