People reckon Edward Snowden is boasting about how many nude pics he gets

National Security Agency (NSA) whistleblower Edward Snowden made quite the Twitter debut when he joined the network last year.

Since then the civil rights activist has been active on the site, signal-boosting important cybersecurity and privacy news from exile in Moscow.

A tweet today however raised a few eyebrows:

"The 'Christmas presents' are flattering, ladies, but the FBI has a warrant", he wrote in what some have suggested to be a cryptic nod to his adoring fans.

Either Snowden's a bit late with his thank you note, or he was celebrating Orthodox Christmas last week.

Last year the whistleblower warned that the National Security Agency (NSA) definitely checks out all the nude pictures and sexts they intercept.
