The alarm clock that could save your relationship

The alarm clock that could save your relationship

Do you share a bed with someone who needs to get up at dawn for work - or are you the early riser? Help is on the way.

A Kickstarter to fund an alarm clock named Wakē that can wake people up individually has raised almost $50,000 in under a week.

"If modern technology can solve so many problems, why do we still wake up the same way we did 30 years ago?", Will Russell the CEO of the company behind the device, Lucera Labs, said.

Rather than a loud alarm, the device uses a beam of light and focused sounds to get people out of bed.
