Get Out star's reaction to winning a Bafta is the best thing you'll see today

Get Out actor Daniel Kaluuya won the EE Rising Star award at the Baftas the only award that is voted for entirely by the public.

Kaluuya seemed surprised when they announced his name, going blank at one point and accidently pointing out that there’s a count down to how long he has with the speech.

However, it was his reaction during a backstage interview with a BBC reporter that warmed people's hearts.

Asked about the win, he said:

Yeah it’s just a bit surreal. It’s a bit surreal. Of course it is – I got a Bafta, bruv! I got this.

I checked it. I was like, nah nah, they didn’t lie.

We’ve been working hard man, it’s the summation of everything and to be in London to do it is just surreal.

I put the hard work in. It’s been a mad few months. It’s been a mad year.

This is going to my mum. She did all the work.
