Climate activists are criticising Kanye West and James Corden for recording 'airpool karaoke'

Over the last few months there have been protests all over the world to demand a rapid response to the impending climate catastrophe.

With teen activist Greta Thunberg at the helm, cities including London have been shut down in order to inconvenience politicians and raise awareness of the dire trajectory of the world’s climate.

Two people who don’t seem to have got the message are Kanye West and James Corden.

Corden had interviewed West to promote his latest album, Jesus is King, with an instalment of his famous Carpool Karaoke at 30,000 feet.

The comedian and West sang the rapper's hits, including 'Jesus Walks', aboard a plane complete with a gospel choir.

But some people are not happy about this unnecessary flight and the impact it will have on the planet.

This isn't the first time that West has enraged climate activists.

Recently he and his wife Kim Kardashian hired out an entire Boeing 747 jet for a trip to Tokyo. He also reportedly flew via private jet to gift DJ Khaled a pair of Yeezy trainers.
