Taylor Swift sends a lonely fan a heartfelt message, melts hearts everywhere

Oh Taylor Swift, is there no end to your do-goodery?

Newly recovered from a series of contretemps last month, Taylor is back to her usual selfless antics. The 25-year-old is well known for her acts of generosity for her fans - but she's also there for them with kind words and a digital hug when they're needed, too.

The singer reached out on Thursday to a 15-year-old Swiftie who posted on Tumblr about how the prospect of starting a new school made her feel blue and lonely.

Taylor saw the post (how does she do this?!) and publicly replied with a heartfelt message promising that life has a way of working out just fine.

We just have to go through life not knowing what's next. It's scary but it's also the wildest, most thrilling part of life. Just when you think it's going to get worse, it could get better instead.

Above all, Taylor said, she wanted her young fan to believe in herself.

I just need you to know how important you are.
