Prior to televised coverage starting, the Beeb had warned that the Pyramid Stage set would contain "strong language and adult themes".
It soon transpired that the subtitlers had received a memo to tone down some of the lyrics.
Our only hope is that for the sequel, the BBC team try to subtitle Iggy Azalea.
