Michael Owen was once one of the most highly-rated centre forwards in Europe

Since retiring from football, he's spent a lot of his time working as a pundit on BT Sport

But he's sometimes criticised for his observations

At the beginning of this season, Owen offered up his predictions for how the Premier League table would finish

Which, er, isn't looking too good at the moment

Chelsea, who he picked as his title favourites, are currently lying in 16th place and have just sacked their manager Jose Mourinho.

Meanwhile, Leicester, who he picked for the drop, are currently top of the league after winning an astonishing 11 of their 17 games so far.

Not to mention his other relegation favourites, Watford, who beat Owen's former side Liverpool 3-0 on Sunday to move four points clear of them in mid-table.

The current likelihood of his prediction is not looking too good. Which lots of people have been quick to remind him about

Looking good Michael...
