The Real Madrid and Portugal forward has been placed top of a list of the world's most charitable sports stars.

The "Athletes Gone Good" list, compiled by social change campaigns website DoSomething.org, ranks philanthropic sports men and women through a public vote, an analysis of their influence on social media and from the advice of a panel of experts.
