Brits are really enjoying this analogy comparing the EU referendum to a bad night out

A joke on Facebook might be doing more to connect the yoof to the issues at stake in next month's EU referendum than any of the Remain camp's efforts so far.

While the original post from Saturday which compares the end of a bad night out to leaving the EU has been shared a few hundred times, a screenshot reposted by user 'Chloe Pesky McGenn' has gone 'mega vi', as the kids say these days.

I know there are problems with the EU but can anyone properly explain what our plan is if we leave?

We have all been on a night out with that mate who when you are in a club says "it's sh-t here" let's go somewhere else. Then when you leave you realise he has no idea where to go and the place you left won't let you back in. Without a decent follow up plan a leave vote could see the UK standing in a kebab shop arguing about who's fault it is.

Forget all that chillin', meetin', chattin', votin' nonsense - the youth vote engagement Remain is looking for can be found, like all good things in life, late at night in a kebab shop.
