Man saves baby from falling as his dad instinct kicks in

You really don't know the power of parental instincts until you have to make a split second

A video uploaded to YouTube shows the amazing moment one dad almost made a massive mistake.

The clip, which appears to have been captured by the family's Nest monitoring system, shows the dad walking out of the open plan kitchen with a young child in his arms.

Unbeknown to him, another child is about to round the corner.

As the superdad is swinging baby number one in the air, he almost trips up over the older sibling.

What follows is a mishmash of moves as the dad loses his footing, starts to fall, and throws himself under the baby to catch its fall.
