Kate Hudson's savage Scaramucci meme totally wins today

Things aren’t looking great for the Trump administration.

This week, it was announced that Anthony Scaramucci is leaving his post as White House communications director after lasting just 10 days in the role.

“The Mooch,” as Scaramucci is also known, was removed from his post by incoming Chief of Staff John Kelly.

Thanks to his ridiculously short tenure at the White House and a bizarre expletive filled rant he made on the record to the New Yorker last week, the internet was immediately awash with memes, burns, jokes and all-round excitement.

This included Hollywood stars, who also got in on the digital dog pile.

Kate Hudson, star of the 2003 film How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, shared this on Instagram, and wrote in the caption: "Box office results are in! The #1 comedy in America!":

That's definitely a movie worth going to see.

Although, we must admit, this version is slightly better:
