Men asked if they could still hug women after #MeToo and they’re being owned for it

The majority of prominent sexual harassment and assault allegations are coming from Hollywood - but the #MeToo movement has made it clear that this is a conversation the whole world needs to hear.

Despite the movement's intentions to spark conversion and empower women not everyone is happy about it. Some men are even shifting the conversation away from women's rights and to their own discomfort over whether they can give a female colleague a well-meaning hug.

For American attorney and reporter Geraldo Rivera, it's the worry that flirtation is now illegal.

Elsewhere, the Associated Pressdedicated a feature to the men fretting about the perceived threat to workplace cuddling, as did The Globe and Mail.

People on Twitter are having none of it.
