There's a Christmas album sung completely by goats, because of course there is

Of all the things you have to have on your radar this Christmas, an album of festive songs sung by goats is probably one of them.

Titled All I Want for Christmas is a Goat (because, of course it is), this new record has been developed by charity ActionAid and is free to download on both Spotify and YouTube.

“This is the Christmas album with a difference," commented ActionAid's Head of Brand, Marketing and PR, Jessica Holland.

Behind the bleats, baaahs and goat cries, we are raising awareness of ActionAid’s work fighting poverty worldwide and the positive impact that goats can have on the lives of some of the world’s poorest families.

Can't say fairer than that. Tracks include Christmas favourites "Jingle Bells", "White Christmas" and "Holy Night" – which alone has clocked up over 315,000 YouTube views.

As a consequence, the song is now vying for Christmas number one. You'll have to wait until next weekend to find out whether it'll bleat The X Factor winner's single (sorry).
