Caroline Lucas, co-leader of the Green Party, has been in the political game long enough to know when she sees a mug.

In recent months, the MP for Brighton Pavilion hasn't been suffering fools lightly either.

Here she is during a General Election TV debate throwing the most shade on Theresa May that you've ever seen.

She's also let her feeling towards the Tories controversial deal with the DUP known:

Now she is taking her crusade outside of the House of Commons by going after one of their biggest companies in the world and their pretty run-of-the-mill merchandise.

That taxes burn is just too hot to handle and her followers agreed.

If you are curious to the accuracy of Lucas's criticism of Google and their tax records then look no further.

At the end of March this year, the Internet giant revealed that they had paid £36 million in taxes in 2016, as reported by The Telegraph.

An account for Google UK Limited with HMRC revealed that the company had received profits of £148.8m in the 12 months up to June 2016.

Their revenues reached £1bn and at the 20pc corporation tax rate, generated a bill a £29.8m.

Outstanding taxes from previous years and further adjustments saw the bill amount to £36.4m.

The international brand has been accused of dodging taxes for years in the UK.

And with nearly £150m in profits, it's not as if they couldn't handle the bill.
