Conspiracy theorists think this hand signal proves Donald Trump is in the Illuminati

Donald Trump has been a symbol of establishment wealth for decades. Yet somehow he's been elected as 45th President of the United States on an anti-establishment narrative.

Some people have decided the only explanation for this is that he is a member of the Illuminati, and to back this up they are citing his hand gestures.

A piece in the Observer on Sunday drew attention to his 'quotation mark' gesture (above) which conspiracy theorist David Vose claims is an:

open acknowledgment of his secret society affiliation with the Illuminati.

The pose supposedly recalls the Devil's number - 666: the '6' figure created by the thumb and forefinger, and the other three fingers.

Or it could be that Trump likes using his tiny hands to suggest his point is in the ballpark of coherence.
