Donald Trump confused Twitter users after he posted a video which appeared to be part of his 2020 re-election campaign.

The two-minute clip, which is no longer available online, shows high profile Democrats - including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton - and presents them against clips of Donald Trump during his first two years of office, including his meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.

Text on the movie-style trailer reads: “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they call you racist."

Though it was viewed more than one million times in the space of a scant few hours, it was later taken down and the video is no longer available for viewing.

What happened?

Well, Trump used part of the score from Warner Bros’ 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises, and the studio filed a copyright infringement complaint, BuzzFeed News has learned.

Awkward.

In a statement, Warner Bros said:

The use of Warner Bros’ score from The Dark Knight Rises in the campaign video was unauthorised. We are working through the appropriate legal channels to have it removed.

Trump’s tweeted video was taken down "in response to a report from the copyright holder".

People are very confused, and call the video 'propaganda' akin to what was seen in 'Stalinist Russia'.

Others are laughing at the video's claims.

And others discussed the possible plot of the Trump 'movie'.
