Nick Clegg announces he is standing down as leader of the Lib Dems
Thursday night was a bloodbath. In a shock result, the Conservatives swept to victory while the SNP decimated the status quo in Scotland.
Scores of Lib Dem and Labour MPs lost their seats, while Ukip, the Greens and even the Respect Party probably didn't get as many as they were hoping for.
