Fans congratulate Ariana Grande after star’s marriage in tiny ceremony at home

Ariana Grande has shocked fans after it was announced that she married her boyfriend Dalton Gomez over the weekend in a “tiny and intimate” ceremony at her Montecito home.

The couple have been together for around 18 months and have been able to keep their relationship relatively low-key.

They were first seen in public together in February 2020 and began quarantining together when the pandemic hit.

Dalton, 25, is a Los Angeles estate agent and is said to have met Grande, 27, through mutual friends.

“He used to be a dancer and they have many mutual friends,” a source told E! News in March. “She’s gotten to know him quickly with the quarantine. They’ve been spending a lot of one on one time at home.”

He appeared with her in the lockdown video for her collaboration with Justin Bieber, Stuck With U.

Grande was previously engaged in 2018 to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson.

A representative for the star confirmed the marriage and said: “They got married. It was tiny and intimate - less than 20 people.

“The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”

Grande broke the news of their engagement on Dec 20 last year, sharing rare photos of them together and her ring – rumoured to be worth $100,000 – in a post captioned “forever n then some”.

Fans inundated the star with best wishes after finding out the news.

Although the couple are fairly private, Grande has posted about her new husband a few times to her 235 million followers.

Most recently April, she shared sweet pictures of them together, including them sharing a kiss under the stars.

In the post she wrote: “!!! my heart my person !!! thank u so much for being u.”
