The I’m a Celebrity… South Africa 2026 final descended into chaos, where Adam Thomas was crowned the winner.
On Friday (24 April), the highly anticipated finale quickly spiralled when tensions flared between Adam and fellow campmates Jimmy Bullard and David Haye.
The heated confrontation escalated further when Sinitta and Gemma Collins walked off set, and hosts Ant and Dec were forced to step in and restore order.
So, where did it all go wrong? Let’s start from the beginning.
During an episode of I’m a Celeb, Bullard – paired with Thomas – called "I'm a Celebrity" mid-trial, signalling he wanted to leave. With eviction hanging over the losing pair, the decision put both contestants at risk of going home.
Thomas was left furious, hitting back: "Don’t take me with you. What is up with you? Tell me why? All you had to do was run through some f***ing mud, and you said get me out of here."

Fast forward to the live final, and tensions reignited. Bullard described the clash as "abusive, aggressive and intimidating", while Haye accused ITV of editing the footage to make Thomas look like a "victim".
Bullard also claimed Thomas dropped "C-bombs" which didn’t make it to air, before asking hosts Ant and Dec for their view, pointing out they had "front row seats".
Regarding the full interaction being aggressive, Ant hit back: "No, it wasn’t, I was there."
Thomas said he took "full responsibility" and had "nothing but love for Jimmy," but Haye quickly interjected: "You’ve got a funny way of showing it."
The confrontation escalated further as Haye and Bullard then asked their fellow contestants to agree that Thomas had been "abusive, intimidating and aggressive" in his row with Bullard.

It didn't take long for viewers to chime in on the action, with one writing: "Credit where it's due, Ant & Dec stayed completely professional in that moment. didn't escalate anything, just kept the whole thing under control while chaos played out."
Another humoured: "It's like that one family member that loses on Monopoly at Christmas and can't let s**t go."
