James O'Brien has slated the Sun for two 'hypocritical' reports in as many days

LBC's James O' Brien has launched an attack on the Sun following seemingly conflicting editorials in the paper in consecutive days.

The presenter on the radio station pointed out how the newspaper had called for unity and a zero tolerance approach to racial division a day after seemingly celebrating a victory over multiculturalism.

He quoted the Sun on Monday...

Where the Brex was won: Streets full of Polish shops, kids not speaking English... but Union Jacks now flying high again.

...comparing it to today's editorial which read:

The Sun today calls on Brits of all creeds, colours and race - Leavers and Remainers - to come together for the good of the country.

We are appalled at reports of racist abuse in the wake of last week's EU vote, and utterly condemn attempts to provoke division in our society.

Anyone caught inciting racial hatred must feel the full force of the law.

O'Brien then registered his disbelief at the juxtaposition between the two editorials on his show:

This also, of course, is the newspaper in which we've read recently that Muslims are not like you or I, they're not like the rest of us and now we've got the proof.

This also is the newspaper in which we have read recently that the BBC is anti-white because it employs an internship scheme dedicated to helping people from minority backgrounds that is also used by Sky News, owned by the same person that owns the Sun newspaper.

This is also a newspaper that has routinely printed columns calling for things like, I don't know, migrants drowning in the sea being welcome.

indy100 has contacted the Sun for comment.
