Keith Olbermann, GQ's special correspondent and host of a video series dedicated to criticising President Donald Trump, has announced he is retiring from political commentary entirely.

Mr Olbermann is hanging up his mic and ending his web series because he believes the end of Donald Trump's Presidency is fast approaching.

Olbermann said on his video series The Resistance that he was:

Confident now, even more so than I have been throughout the last year, that this nightmare presidency of Donald John Trump will end prematurely and end soon, and I am thus also confident that this it the correct moment to end this series of commentaries.

Olbermann posited that Trump, whom he has previously labelled a 'psychopath' and 'crazy', has seven eventualities ahead of him, all of which lead to his impeachment or resignation.

He theorised that the most likely route to Trump's Presidency ending is a deal between Robert Mueller and General Michael Flynn, Mr Trump's former National Security Advisor:

He does not make a deal with Flynn to get Jared Kushner. He does not make a deal with Flynn to get Trump Jr. Mueller makes a deal with Flynn to get a deal with Trump. Period.

The Flynn deal report suggest Mueller has completely assembled the backbone of his case, and is now just hanging the meat from it.

And just as importantly, if Flynn has merely considered a deal from Mueller it almost necessarily means that Flynn either doesn't believe he would get a pardon from Trump, or that Mueller has found a way around Trump's pardon hour and that spells Trump's doom.
