Kim Kardashian West jokes hosting Saturday Night Live will be ‘so easy’ because she’s pretty

Kim Kardashian West is gearing up to host Saturday Night Live this weekend. In a new first look at the upcoming show, Kardashian jokes that the job is ‘easy’ as long as she looks better than everyone else on stage.

SNL’s Instagram shared the clip of Kardashian alongside veteran cast member Cecily Strong and singer Halsey, who will be Saturday's musical guest.

"Hi, I'm Kim Kardashian West, and I'm hosting SNL this week with Halsey," West says at the start of the clip.

When asked by Strong whether the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was "nervous" about doing sketch comedy the Kardashian responds, "Why? I don't have to write sketches, do I?"

After Stong declines her need to do so, the reality TV star follows up with another question — will she have to memorize lines? "No, there are cue cards," Halsey replies.

"Everyone else won't look as good as me, will they?" Kardashian questioned the ladies, to which both Halsey and Strong answered with a resounding “No.” "No, absolutely not,” Strong said.

"This is so easy," Kardashian jokes.

This will mark the first time that the Skims founder hosts the popular comedy show. Her ex-husband, Kanye West, famously took the New York stage back in 2018 which led to the internet having many mixed feelings about his appearance. Although Kardashian seems pretty lax about her hosting duties in the clip, it would be understandable (and expected) for her nerves to take over prior to the live sketch comedy.

Kardashian and her family have been popular topics on the show — as has her ex-husband — so we’d imagine that the writers won’t be holding back from poking fun at the recent events happening in her personal life.
