Kim Kardashian destroys her sister's ex-husband with just five words

Kim Kardashian has destroyed her sister Khloe's former husband with a brutal response on Twitter.

Lamar Odom is a retired professional basketball player who was married to Khloe between 2009 and 2016.

The 38-year-old athlete spoke about his failed marriage to the reality TV star during the premiere episode of a new American talk show, Mancave.

When speaking about why the relationship ended Lamar remarked :

I understand when it's over.

When she was with her second or third NBA ball player, I could see that.

Khloe did go on to date fellow basketball players James Harden and her current partner Tristan Thompson, with whom she is expecting a baby with.

However, his comments haven't fallen on deaf ears and it has prompted a strong backlash from Khloe's sister Kim, who bought up a controversial moment from his past.

In 2015 Lamar overdosed at a brothel in Crystal, Nevada, about 80 miles from Las Vegas, and fell into a coma.

Just two years previously, Khloe had filed for divorce but reportedly supported Lamar during his treatment and recovery. The pair finalised their separation in December 2016.

After seeing a tweet quoting Lamar's 'second or third ball player' comments, Kim quote retweeted the original message with the following:
