The Rock surprises busload of fans with impressive gifts

The Rock has once again reminded us why he is everyone’s favourite celebrity after giving impressive gifts to a busload of fans.

Former wrestler Dwayne Johnson shared the video earlier this week with his 279 million Instagram fans, describing himself as “Dwanta Claus” in the caption.

The actor strolled out of his house asking: “Hey guys, do you know where I could find The Rock?”

Fans cheered before he said he just wanted to come out and say hello, and announced that he had “a few gifts”.

He then announced that he would give each passenger on the bus a year subscription to Netflix, a Samsung TV, an Xbox gaming console, $500 (£370) to go towards their holiday shopping, as well as his self-branded energy drinks and tequila.

He saved perhaps the best gift for last — an invitation to the world premiere of Red Notice.

One of the passengers said: “This is my first tour and the best one I think I’ve ever been on.”

Another fan gushed: “I’ve always wanted to meet The Rock and he’s just an amazing person.”

The video then cuts to the red carpet at the film premiere, where Johnson poses for a picture with the passengers.

In the caption, Johnson wrote that he loves surprising tour buses that visit his neighbourhood, saying on this occasion: “Dwanta Claus started handing out gifts like they were candy.”

He wrote about all the amazing prizes the fans would receive and added: “I love doing this stuff and I always say it’s the best part of fame.

“We brought a little joy to some good folks.”

This isn’t the only surprise he had up his sleeve for fans this week. He also shared a video revealing that he is giving away $500 to families in need across the country to celebrate Thanksgiving.

He’s also known to surprise his own family, as earlier this year he stunned his daughter with a special birthday message from Aquaman actor Jason Momoa.

He may be called The Rock, but really he’s a big sweetheart.
