Rosie O'Donnell has this to say about Donald Trump's blood comments

Donald Trump's bête noire Rosie O'Donnell has spoken about the businessman's now-infamous "blood" comments.

Trump was widely criticised last week after claiming Fox News host Megyn Kelly was unfair to him during a TV debate between candidates to fight the next US election for the Republican party because there was "blood coming out of her wherever,” a comment many interpreted as a reference to menstruation. The property magnate later claimed he was talking about a nose bleed, adding those who believed he had been talking about periods must be "deviants".

O'Donnell - who Trump has called a "true loser" and "crude, rude, obnoxious and dumb" - said the comments were part of a wider "war on women". She phoned Sirius XM after they discussed Kiran Gandhi, the woman who ran the marathon while on her period, asking: "Why do you think she did that?".

When Fox anchors are being accused of being hormonal and ashamed because they have their period... Then that woman [Gandhi] does that. Why do you think she does that stuff? You don’t think she did that to say, ‘F--you a–hole?!’

She went on: "I'd like to take my period blood that I no longer have and write, 'You're all a--holes.' I'd like to smear it all over some people's faces."
