Shocking footage shows anti-vaxxers intimidating people waiting to get Covid vaccine

Anti-vaxxers heckling people waiting to get the Covid-19 vaccine caused a temporary closure of a facility administering them in Los Angeles.

Footage shared on social media showed protestors taunting drivers and halting the flow of traffic at the entrance of the Dodger Stadium, which is one of the largest vaccination sites in the US.

The Los Angeles Fire Department closed the venue for around 55 minutes, with vaccination appointments delayed but not cancelled.

A video posted on Twitter by @davenewworld_2 recorded protestors insulting those waiting for a vaccine and mocking mask-wearing.

A participant, who was wearing a “Fake News” T-shirt, is seen ridiculing the occupant of one vehicle with a baseless conspiracy theory: “Have fun being a byproduct of Bill Gates.”

She then asks: “Why are you wearing a mask in your car?”

After this, a companion joins in to repeatedly mock the driver: “Your dog needs a mask.”

The protestor adds: “Do you think you can get Covid through your dog?”

In her final perceived clapback while walking away, she said: “Your dog is smarter than you.”

About 50 demonstrators took part in what had reportedly been described as a "march against everything COVID, Vaccine, PCR Tests, Lockdowns, Masks, Fauci, Gates, [California governor] Newsom, China, digital tracking, etc”.

Social media users reacted to the clip and disruption at the vaccination site.

The Covid-19 death toll in Los Angeles County has passed 16,000, and the national figure is more than 440,000.
