The truth is out there - and you might hear about it via James Corden’s talk show.

Barack Obama was asked about alien life forms on the Late Late Show when he appeared on the talkshow on Monday night.

Reggie Watts, the show’s bandleader, asked the former president if he had any theories or information about UFOs - and his answer was surprisingly candid.

“The truth is that when I came into office, I asked. I was like, ‘Is there a lab somewhere where we’re keeping the alien specimens and space ships?’

“They did a little bit of research and the answer is no.”

However: “What is true – and I’m actually being serious here – is that there’s footage and records of objects in the sky that we don’t know exactly what they are.

“We can’t explain how they move, their trajectory. They did not have an easily explainable pattern. I think people still take seriously trying to investigate and figure out what that is. But I have nothing to report to you today.”

The question and answer session came hot on the heels of a former Navy pilot broaching the topic in a 60 Minutes interview which aired on Sunday.

The US Senate intelligence committee has ordered the Director of National Intelligence and the secretary of Defence to deliver a report on UAPs by next month.
