Blending neodymium magnets produces some mesmerising results

BlentTech's Tom Dickson is back, answering that age-old question: will it blend? On the menu today are neodymium magnets.

The rare earth metal is particularly strong and has been popularised as a children's toy - dozens of the balls can be joined together and manipulated into different shapes. However, because it is so strong and so small, some countries are considering whether to ban its use in children's toys.

In order to rid the world of some of this dangerous substance, Mr Dickson has decided to blend some and the results are surprisingly mesmerising...

Although it goes without saying: please do not try this at home.
