Hollywood divorces can be ugly. But Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have always given us hope that not every couple to go their separate ways ends up despising each other.
The pair – who divorced in 2005 after widely reported rumours that Pitt had started an affair with Angelina Jolie, who he later married – were photographed together at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Both actors walked away with an award, with Aniston winning for her lead role in The Morning Show and Pitt for his supporting role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

In what feels like a nostalgic rebirth of the collective obsession with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s chemistry throughout the 2019 awards season, everyone was pretty much obsessed with the reunion between the two. Despite the very public breakdown of their marriage, in less than ideal circumstances, there’s something undeniably lovely about how they can (at least publicly) support each other.
People couldn’t get enough of it.
