If you’ve ever wondered what a dinner party with Jeffrey Epstein, Prince Andrew and Woody Allen would have been like, comedian Chelsea Handler has the answer.

Handler was admittedly weirded out while attending a celebrity-packed dinner party at the late financier and sex offender’s home around twenty years ago.

She dropped this information on the “Literally! With Rob Lowe” podcast. She described the very strange evening with the financier, who reportedly died by suicide in jail while being held without bail pending trial on child sex trafficking charges. He had been convicted of child sex offences previously.

Handler told Lowe:

“I did go to dinner at Jeffrey Epstein’s house,”

“I didn’t know who Jeffrey Epstein was. It was like twenty — I don’t know what year it was but it was a long time ago. I went with Katie Couric. Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn were there. Charlie Rose was there.”

“I was at that dinner party, but not for very long,”

“When we got there I was like, ‘What is this gathering?’ Oh yeah, Prince Andrew was there with — no, with no one. He was there with Jeffrey Epstein.”

“Yeah, we had dinner and it was so awkward and so weird. I was like what are we doing here? And then I asked Woody Allen how he and Soon Yi met and that was when I left.”

Lowe interrupted:

“Wait a minute… You asked Woody Allen how he and Soon Yi met?”

Previn is well known to be the adopted daughter of Allen’s ex, Mia Farrow. Allen has himself been accused of sex offences by his adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow. He denies all accusations.

Prince Andrew has long faced intense scrutiny for his former friendship with Epstein. Virginia Louise Giuffre claims that she was trafficked by Epstein and forced to have sex with the prince when she was seventeen. He strongly denies this.

Handler said that after her “faux pas” with Allen, she made a swift exit from the party, which was the only time she ever saw Epstein. She added that the party was “very confusing.”

Epstein was known for hosting dinner parties with famous and powerful guests, and had friendships with Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey and Donald Trump.
