Most bridal shoots feature gorgeous dresses, plenty of champagne, and the bride supported by her nearest and dearest.

In that sense Rebecca Abrantes bridal shoot was typical. Just pictures of her and her five friends helping her get ready for her wedding.

Except her five friends are male.

The now viral pictures depict the 24-year-old newly-wed shaving, drinking and getting pampered before her wedding with her five 'bros', who look like they had an awesome time.

Rebeca is a computer engineering student, a field typically dominated by men. She's one of only four women in her class of 60!

Speaking to BoredPanda, Rebeca said:

I came up with the idea one week before the wedding. I was looking into some “making of” pictures of brides with their gang of girls, all in robes, laughing, drinking champagne and all, and I got a bit sad because I wouldn’t be able to do anything like that.

The photoshoot was super fun. Everyone was taking shots of cheap booze and sometimes we were laughing so much that we had to take some time to recover and go on with the photos.

Sharing the now viral pictures on Facebook, Rebeca wrote:

When the bride doesn't have any girlfriends, it's time to call her bros. This is what happens to a girl in Computer Engineering.
