Everyone is overlooking this very important point about the United States flag

Donald Trump has been heavily criticised for his comments against professional athletes who kneel during the national anthem as a protest to police injustice against ethnic minorities.

Trump described it numerous times as “disrespecting our flag” – something it’s safe to assume he feels very, very strongly against.

But Twitter user Henry Wise was quick to helpfully point out chapter 10 of the US’s Flag Code.

Wise also points out that it actually isn't disrespectful to kneel during the national anthem, and that Trump and any supporters of his comments should look at their own behaviour.
