Veteran and member of congress for Hawaii Tulsi Gabbard has called Donald Trump ‘Saudi Arabia’s b***h’ after he praised the country, despite claims that a CIA report found the crown prince had been behind the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
On Wednesday, the US president tweeted about low oil prices:
“Oil prices getting lower,” he began.
Great! Like a big Tax Cut for America and the World. Enjoy! $54 was just $82. Thank you to Saudi Arabia, but let’s go lower.
The tweet follows comments he made in support of Saudi prince Mohammed Bin Salman. Trump told reporters:
I’m not going to tell a country… that has helped me keep oil prices down… I’m not going to destroy our economy by being foolish with Saudi Arabia.
When he was asked about reports the CIA had concluded the prince was behind the killing of the journalist, he said:
They did not make that assessment. They had nothing definitive.
We are staying with Saudi Arabia, and by the way, I have no business with Saudia Arabia. I couldn’t care less. This is about America first.
The familiar adage appeared to have annoyed the congresswoman, who took to Twitter to air her ire:
Hey @realdonaldtrump: being Saudi Arabia’s bitch is not “America First.”
Burn.
